This year’s annual Winter Festival of Holidays community event is just around the corner! The familiar melodies of holiday music are floating through the halls as students are experiencing the process of creating and preparing work to share with you this season. Student performances at the Winter Festival of Holidays are a reflection of Echo Horizon’s Global Arts curriculum, mirroring the performance skills that are built and expanded upon in grades Pre-K-6th. In lower elementary, students work on building foundational performance skills, such as stage presence, vocal projection, and facial expression. In upper elementary, students expand upon these skills by collaborating as an ensemble and developing and creating their own original works for presentation. All student performances will be hosted in the auditorium. It is our hope that these performances educate, inform, and engage our audiences in the student learning process throughout this holiday season. Take a look at the list of performances below for a sneak peek at what is in store this year!
